Adafruit SCD-41 - True CO2 Temperature and Humidity Sensor - STEMMA QT / Qwiic
The Adafruit SCD-41 is a photoacoustic CO2 sensor that accurately measures the CO2 concentration in the air in ppm (parts-per-million). Unlike VOC-based sensors, this sensor measures CO2 levels directly and is suitable for applications such as environmental monitoring, scientific experiments and ventilation studies. It combines temperature and humidity sensors and offers high measurement accuracy in a compact format.

The SCD-41 has a measurement range of 400 to 5000 ppm with an accuracy of ±(40 ppm + 5 % of reading). Thanks to the integrated I2C interface, it is compatible with various microcontrollers and microcomputers. The sensor supports voltages from 3.3 to 5 V, with a built-in voltage regulator and level converter ensuring a stable power supply.

The sensor is pre-installed on a customised circuit board in the STEMMA QT form factor. STEMMA QT and Qwiic connectors allow easy, solderless connection to development kits or daisy chaining with other sensors and accessories. A quiet voltage source with low ripple is recommended for optimal power supply.
