Description
Product information "Addressable WS2812 RGB LED, PTH, 8mm, diffuse, pack of 5"
We know this one looks like many of our other LEDs, but it's not! This is a PTH addressable RGB LED with a WS2812 (or "NeoPixel") control IC built right into the LED. This PTH version is incredibly similar to its SMD cousin, except it's much easier to solder into your project and is in a diffuse 8mm package. With this RGB LED, the control IC has been moved into the actual LED, so we wanted to bring you this amazing product! They are great if you need a lot of colour in a small amount of board space, now more than ever.
If you are looking for a great addressable LED in a common LED form factor, then this is the perfect choice for you.
Note: Supplied in packs of 5.

Safety instructions
- Always connect the LED to the recommended operating voltage (typically 5V). Excessive voltages can damage the LED.
- Use suitable series resistors or resistors in the data channel to avoid electrical interference and damage to the sensor.
- Ensure correct polarity when connecting to prevent short circuits or damage to the LEDs.
- Avoid overheating the LEDs. Ensure that the LEDs are sufficiently cooled if they are operated at high brightness for long periods.
- LEDs should be protected from moisture, dust or direct sunlight if they are not specifically designed for outdoor use.
- In the event of damage or malfunction, do not use the LED component to avoid short circuits or fire risks.
- Dispose of defective LEDs in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste. LEDs do not belong in household waste.
- Keep the LED and associated electronics away from children, as small parts can be swallowed.
