Product information "Arduino Pro Mini 328, 5V/16MHz"

It's blue! It is thin! It's the Arduino Pro Mini! SparkFun's minimal design approach to Arduino. This is a 5V Arduino running the 16MHz bootloader. The Arduino Pro Mini does not come with assembled connectors, so you can solder in any connector or wire with any orientation. We recommend that Arduino beginners start with the Uno R3. It's a great board to get you started quickly. The Arduino Pro series is for users who understand the limitations of the system voltage (5V), lack of connectors and USB outside the board.

We really wanted to minimise the cost of an Arduino. To achieve this, we used all SMD components, made it dual layer, etc. This board connects directly to the FTDI Basic Breakout Board and supports auto-reset. The Arduino Pro Mini also works with the FTDI cable, but the FTDI cable does not bring out the DTR pin, so the auto-reset function will not work. There is a voltage regulator on board so it can accept a voltage up to 12VDC. If you power the board with unregulated voltage, make sure you connect it to the "RAW" pin and not VCC.

The latest and greatest version of this board breaks out the ADC6 and ADC7 pins and adds footprints for optional I2C pull-up resistors! We've also taken the opportunity to put the OSHW logo on it.

Adafruit CP2102N Friend - USB to Serial Converter
The days of parallel and serial connections are long gone. Now the USB connection has the upper hand! But USB is heavy, and you just want to transfer your everyday serial data from a microcontroller to a computer. What now? Here comes the Adafruit CP2102N Friend! The CP2102N is very similar to the CP2104. Although it has a name with a lower number, it is considered the successor to the CP2104. Compared to the CP2104, the CP2102N: Transfer data at a higher speed: the CP2104 has a maximum transfer rate of 2Mbps, the CP2102N of 3Mbps reprogramme the internal settings: The CP2104 has a one-time programmable memory and the CP2102N has a reprogrammable settings memory. 99% of people don't use this feature, but it's there if you need it. The CP2102N is better than the CP2012 (without N) as it has the same RS-485 and GPIO support as the CP2104. You can find more details in the SiLabs CP2104 to CP2102N migration guide. We have also updated this breakout from our CP2104 Friend so that it now has USB C instead of Micro B. Otherwise, it's drop-in compatible and works anywhere you use the CP2104 to upload firmware to microcontrollers. It's a high-quality CP2102N USB serial chip that can upload code at 3Mbps for fast development. It also has an auto-reset for Arduino/ATmega328 boards, so you don't have to fiddle with pins and press reset buttons. The CP2102N has better driver support than the CH340 and can handle very high speeds and variable speeds without stability issues. Compared to the FT232RL and FT231X, the CP2102N has the same or even better capabilities - and at an affordable price! It even has RX/TX LEDs to help you debug your data: They flash when the chip is receiving or sending data. By default, we've set it up to match our FTDI cables. Adafruit vibrating mini motor disc
*BZZZZZZZZZZZZ* Can you feel that? That's the little whirring motor, and for any project with haptic feedback, you should get a few. These vibe motors are tiny discs that are completely sealed so they are easy to use and embed. Two wires are used to control/power the vibe motor. Simply connect it to a battery or microcontroller pin (red is positive, blue is negative) and it will start humming. The rated voltage is 2.5 to 3.8V and for many projects we have found that it vibrates from 2V up to 5V, higher voltages result in higher current draw but also stronger vibration. If you want to reduce the current draw/strength (e.g. to control it directly from an Arduino pin), try connecting a resistor (100 to 1000 ohms) in series. For full power control, a small PN2222 transistor can easily control a motor, a little experimentation may be required!

Seeed Grove - Piezo Buzzer/Active Buzzer The Grove buzzer is an active piezoelectric signalling device that has a Grove interface and can therefore be integrated directly into microcontroller projects. With a volume of over 85 dB, it generates a clear acoustic signal. The buzzer can use both digital and PWM outputs to generate sounds at different pitches and intervals. Its low current consumption behaviour, typically below 20 mA, makes it suitable for use in energy-efficient applications. The resonant frequency range is 2300 ± 300 Hz. The buzzer is designed for applications where acoustic feedback or signalling is required. These include man-machine interfaces, microwave devices, doorbells, alarm devices, electrical alarms or timers. The component is suitable as a supplement for Arduino projects and can be connected directly to an Arduino board using a Grove Base Shield V2.0. Adafruit DS3231 Precision RTC Breakout
The data sheet for the DS3231 explains that this component is an "Extremely Accurate I²C-Integrated RTC/TCXO/Crystal". And, hey, that's exactly what it is. This Real Time Clock (RTC) is the most accurate you can get in a small, low-power package. Most RTCs use an external 32 kHz clock crystal designed to keep time with low power consumption. And that's all well and good, but these crystals have a slight drift, especially when the temperature changes (the temperature only changes the oscillation frequency very, very slightly, but it adds up!) This RTC is housed in a robust case, because the crystal is inside the chip! And right next to the integrated quartz is a temperature sensor. This sensor compensates for frequency changes by adding or removing clock ticks so the timing stays on schedule. This is the best RTC you can get, and now we have it in a compact, breadboard-friendly breakout. With a coin cell battery that plugs into the back, you can keep accurate timing for years, even if the power is interrupted. Great for data logging and clocks, or anything where you really need to know the time. Supplied as a fully assembled and tested breakout plus a small piece of header. You can solder in the header to plug it into a breadboard, or solder wires directly. A coin cell is required to use the battery backup features!
