The modular battery box from BerryBase offers a flexible solution for accommodating 18650 rechargeable batteries. It enables both serial and parallel connections and can be extended indefinitely along the long sides. The box is made of durable plastic (PC+ABS) and has pure copper contacts, ensuring stable and reliable electrical connections. The product is suitable for both DIY projects and professional applications where modular and scalable power supply systems are required.
The battery box is used to hold and connect 18650 rechargeable batteries. Thanks to the modular plug-in system, several boxes can be mechanically and electrically connected to each other to realise different voltage configurations (serial) or current capacities (parallel). It can be used both in experimental circuits and in permanently installed projects. The handling does not require soldering, which simplifies customisation and expansion.
The box is made of polycarbonate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (PC+ABS), an impact-resistant and thermally stable plastic. The electrical contacts are made of pure copper and offer low contact resistance. Expansion is achieved by connecting the modules in series, with mechanical contacting ensured via connecting elements. 18650 batteries are cylindrical lithium-ion cells with a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 65 mm. The parallel connection increases the current capacity, while the serial connection adds voltage. The structure can be flexibly designed depending on the voltage or capacity requirements.
