The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3-U board is a powerful microcontroller based on the ESP32-S3-U-WROOM-1-N16R8 module. It is equipped with an OV2640 camera that supports image processing and image transmission. With 16 MB Flash and 8 MB PSRAM as well as dual-mode communication for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5, the board is ideal for applications in AI-supported image and voice processing as well as AIoT projects.
The integrated camera enables high-resolution image capture up to 1600x1200 pixels and uses an independent power supply to minimise signal interference. In addition, the board supports the development of applications for smart devices and expands IoT application areas. Support for protocols such as Bluetooth Mesh and Espressif WiFi Mesh ensures stable communication and long range.
With its ease of use and support for Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF and MicroPython, the FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3-U enables flexible programming in C and Python. The board also includes a GDI display interface, which facilitates the connection of screens, as well as integrated power management for Li-Ion batteries with charging function.
