The DFRobot Gravity: Text to Speech Voice Synthesizer Module V2.0 is a module for converting digital texts into spoken language. It supports Chinese, English and a combination of both languages. An integrated loudspeaker enables direct output without additional hardware.
The module can be integrated into microcontroller systems such as Arduino, micro:bit, Firebeetle Series, LattePanda or Raspberry Pi via the I2C and UART interfaces and the standardised Gravity connection. Among other things, it can output current times and environmental data. Multiple text control identifiers improve pronunciation accuracy and reduce errors.
Typical applications include voice output for robots, acoustic instructions, interactive controls, automatic announcements and accessibility systems. Voice control functions can be realised in conjunction with a speech recognition module.
