Duracell – batteries with a long shelf life
Duracell has its roots in the 1920s and became, with the copper-and-black design and the drumming rabbit, one of the most recognisable battery brands in the world. Behind the advertising stands a technical focus: alkaline cells with long shelf life and a stable voltage curve.
The alkaline batteries in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V are designed for devices that draw current over long periods – remote controls, clocks, smoke detectors, toys and measuring instruments. Depending on the series, they remain storable for up to ten years, which matters for emergency equipment and rarely used devices.
The lithium button cells are indispensable in electronics: they buffer the real-time clock on mainboards and single-board computers, power key fobs, sensors and hearing aids, and deliver a stable voltage until the end of their life.
At BerryBase you will find Duracell batteries and button cells for projects, workshop and household.
