This CrowPanel ESP32 1.54-inch E-paper HMI display uses advanced display technology and offers an active matrix electrophoresis display. The anti-glare, hard-coated surface ensures that the content is clearly visible even in sunlight and mimics the appearance of paper.

The display offers a high resolution of 152*152, a black and white display and is suitable for various application scenarios. The built-in ESP32-S3 chip ensures stable performance and fast data transmission via the SPI interface. The design includes multiple interfaces and buttons, such as a BAT interface, UART0 interface, 2x10-pin GPIO interface, back button, home button and rotary switch, which facilitates development and operation. The white acrylic housing is not only visually appealing, but also protects the screen.

Platzsparende Platine mit leichten Schwächen

Diese kleine Platine mit einem ePaper Display und einem ESP32-S3 ist sehr kompakt und platzsparend. Man kann so sehr handliche und stromsparende Projekte realisieren. Das Ganze funktioniert sehr gut und das Display ist auch sehr performant (partial refresh). Den einen Stern ziehe ich für die nicht leicht auffindbare Dokumentation/Beispielcode (siehe: https://github.com/Elecrow-RD/ESP32_S3-Ink-Screen) und die seltsame USB Anbindung über einen separaten CH340 Chip (der ESP32-S3 hat eigentlich USB an Bord) ab.
