The M5Stack Cardputer v1.1 is a compact, powerful mini-computer for development and prototyping purposes. It is based on the new StampS3A microcontroller and offers optimised antenna and button structures compared to the previous version, improving system stability and user experience. Equipped with a 56-key keypad and a 1.14-inch TFT display, the device enables effective input and output. An integrated digital MEMS microphone (SPM1423) allows voice recording and wake-up functions, while a cavitation speaker is used for audio output. An infrared emitter is also integrated, which enables external devices to be controlled.

Expandability is supported by a Grove interface and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. Power is supplied by a combination of an internal 120mAh battery and a 1400mAh battery in the base. Power is supplied via integrated charging and voltage converter circuits. The base contains magnets for attachment to metal surfaces and is compatible with LEGO bricks, offering a wide range of mounting options. Applications include rapid function verification, industrial control, home automation and embedded systems development.

The device can be used for rapid function development and testing. It is also suitable for recording data, controlling applications in an industrial environment or in the field of home automation.
