Finger Unit is a fingerprint sensor based on the FPC1020A chipset.

This all-in-one fingerprint sensor makes adding, verifying and managing fingerprints super easy.

It is operated via the UART protocol and its compact size and extremely low power consumption make it very attractive for use in conjunction with products from the M5Stack series. It performs fast fingerprint matching with maximum security and optimum user convenience. You can programme the comparison level of fingerprint recognition and different security levels. If you ever consider securing your project with biometrics, don't forget to include the M5 unit FINGER.

This unit communicates with M5Core via the UART protocol connected via PORTC
