The M5Stamp Fly is a programmable, open-source quadrocopter kit that uses the M5StampS3 as its main controller. It is equipped with a BMI270 6-axis gyroscope and a BMM150 3-axis magnetometer, which are used to detect attitude and direction. The BMP280 barometric sensor and two VL53L3 distance sensors enable precise hovering at height and obstacle avoidance. A PMW3901MB-TXQT optical flow sensor detects movement. The kit also includes a buzzer, a reset button and WS2812 RGB LEDs for status indication and interaction. Power is supplied by a 300mAh high-voltage battery, and four high-speed coreless motors power the quadrocopter.

Lustiges Spielzeug mit Begrenzungen
Die Drohne funktioniert. Sie wirkt insgesamt fähig und stabil, und könnte sogar noch ein bisschen mehr Gewicht anheben. Allerdings muss man ohne den Joystick einen separates Lademodul kaufen, da sich der Akku nicht über den USB-Port laden lässt.
