This infrared module (IR transceiver) from the mBuild series enables the transmission and reception of signals in the 940 nm range. It works according to the NEC protocol, which is often used in remote control applications, and is particularly suitable for simple data transmissions in educational systems.
The module is ideal for remote control functions, signal transmission between robots or as an IR interface to external devices. Thanks to its mBuild compatibility, it can be easily integrated into existing systems, for example for control via IR remote controls.
