The mBuild motion sensor from Makeblock is based on PIR technology (passive infrared sensor) and recognises movement through heat radiation - for example from people or animals. The module is suitable for automatic reactions in robotics projects, such as activating displays, lights or actions when someone approaches.
Typical applications include interactive exhibits, smart doors or security-related reactions. Thanks to the integration into the mBuild system, the sensor is immediately ready for operation and ideal for use with CyberPi or mBot2 in STEM environments.
