Pineboards is the result of the shared vision of Michał Gapiński and Mirosław Folejewski, two enthusiasts and experts in embedded systems. Inspired by the new 5th generation Raspberry Pi with PCIe Express extension, they founded Pineboards at the end of September 2023. Michał brings his expertise in software, firmware and commerce, while Mirek specialises in hardware design and PCB circuits.

The founders of Pineboards
Michał Gapiński
Michał is an experienced developer in the field of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and the Linux kernel. He has been working on mobile embedded solutions since 2011 and has led major projects such as the Tesla Android Project. His expertise includes the development of custom AOSP builds and the maintenance of CyanogenMod (now LineageOS) for various devices.
Mirosław Folejewski
Mirek is an accomplished hardware and PCB designer with over 18 years of professional experience and more than 30 years as a DIY maker. He has developed numerous projects in the field of embedded technologies and digital systems, including the well-known MirkoPC project. Mirek is an active supporter of the open source community and has published many of his projects under open hardware principles.
