Digital storage oscilloscope
Pokit DSO captures detailed voltage and current waveforms for display on your smartphone. It also allows you to operate in the frequency domain using FFT for use as a spectrum analyser. Simply pinch to set the capture voltage scale and time base and tap to select a trigger mode.
The captured waveforms are displayed in impressive detail. You can zoom and pan by pinching and zooming. Long press on the graph to adjust the cursors and track your signals.

Pokit – the measuring lab in your pocket

Pokit is an Australian company that has rethought a familiar problem: measuring instruments are bulky, and you rarely have the right one with you. The answer is a device barely bigger than a key fob that combines several instruments at once.

A Pokit works as a multimeter for voltage, current and resistance, as a two-channel oscilloscope for signal traces, and as a data logger that records measurements over hours or days. There is no display on the device – readings are shown in the app on a smartphone or tablet, connected via Bluetooth.

This has a practical advantage beyond size: because the measuring device is galvanically separated from the display, you can place it at the measuring point and read the values from a safe distance – useful with mains voltage or in hard-to-reach spots.
