The Grove - 1-Wire Thermocouple Amplifier (MAX31850K) is a thermocouple-to-digital converter with 14-bit resolution and cold junction compensation that was specially developed for use with K-type thermocouples. This module enables precise temperature measurements in a wide range from -50℃ to +600℃. By integrating an amplifier, an ADC and a 64-bit ROM in each device, which has a unique 64-bit serial number, multiple units can be operated via a single 1-wire bus. This allows a single microcontroller to monitor temperatures from multiple thermocouples over large areas. This offers the advantage of easy installation and expandability in applications that require precise temperature monitoring.
