Grove - ADXL345 is a small, thin, ultra-low current 3-axis accelerometer that provides high-resolution (13-bit) measurements up to ±16g. It measures static acceleration of gravity in tilt detection applications as well as dynamic acceleration due to motion or shock. With a high resolution of 3.9 mg/LSB, tilt changes of less than 1.0° can be measured. The extremely low power consumption is only 23 μA in measurement mode and 0.1 μA in standby mode. These low consumption values enable intelligent, motion-based energy management. The sensor offers several special detection functions such as activity and inactivity detection, knock detection and free-fall detection. It has a 4-pin Grove interface (3-5VDC) for easy connection to Arduino and Seeeduino boards. Ideal for mobile applications and precise tilt measurements.
