Seeed Grove - 4-Digit Display, Nixie Tube
The Grove - 4-Digit Display is a 12-pin module with a four-digit alphanumeric display for displaying numbers and characters. The module uses the TM1637 driver component, which means that only two digital control lines of a microcontroller are required to control both content and brightness. This reduces hardware requirements and facilitates integration into projects with limited I/O resources. The display has eight adjustable brightness levels and is compatible with voltages from 3.3 V to 5.5 V.
The module is suitable for projects in which numeric or simple alphanumeric information is to be displayed, such as for time displays, stopwatches or the output of sensor values. Thanks to the Grove interface, it can be connected quickly and without soldering to common platforms such as Arduino or Seeeduino.
The display is controlled via the integrated TM1637 chip. This takes over the multiplexing of the four segments and thus enables a simple display via two control lines. The module can display different characters and numbers by adapting the control and also supports applications with changing lighting conditions thanks to the bright display.
