Product information "seeed Grove Shield for Raspberry Pi Pico, v1.0"
The Grove Shield for Pi Pico is an expansion board developed by Seeed Studio specifically for the Raspberry Pi Pico. It offers complete female header connections for all GPIO pins of the Pico as well as ten additional Grove connections. The Grove interfaces cover different signal types, including 2× I2C, 2× UART, 3× digital and 3× analogue ports. An SPI0 connection, a 5 V/3.3 V switch for the power supply and an SWD debug interface are also available. The extension is designed so that both pre-soldered Pico boards and standard Pico pins can be plugged in directly.
The shield is used for the organised and modular connection of numerous Grove components to the Raspberry Pi Pico. It supports both the MicroPython and Arduino programming languages. The fully implemented GPIO connections enable the parallel use of Grove modules and directly wired components. Integration in rapid prototyping projects as well as in applications for sensor technology, actuator control, portable electronics or in the education sector is facilitated by the standardised Grove connections. The Grove Shield is part of the Grove Starter Kit for the Raspberry Pi Pico and is offered there in combination with other components and free introductory courses.
The Grove Shield for Pi Pico is equipped with several Grove connections that enable a direct connection to sensors, actuators or modules. It expands the connection options of the Raspberry Pi Pico and supports the structured development of electronic projects. The voltage selection via the slide switch allows the use of 5 V and 3.3 V components. The additional SWD debug interface allows developers to program the microcontroller and analyse errors. The compact format facilitates use in portable devices or small housings.
