The Grove Shield for Seeed Studio XIAO is a plug-and-play expansion board for the Seeed Studio XIAO series. It has an integrated battery management chip and a battery connection pad that can be used to power and charge Seeed Studio XIAO with a 3.7V lithium battery. Eight Grove connections are available on the board, including two Grove IIC and one Grove UART. The shield serves as a bridge between Seeed Studio XIAO and Seeed's Grove system, which includes over 300 different Grove modules.
A bonding pad for SPI flash is also provided, allowing Seeed Studio XIAO's memory to be expanded. The board also features a power switch and a charge status indicator. The compact design of the board allows it to be broken along predetermined breaking points, reducing the size to 25mm x 39mm.
The Grove Shield for Seeed Studio XIAO is used to realise projects quickly and without additional soldering. Applications include portable devices, rapid prototyping, testing Grove modules and space-constrained projects.
Key features include powering and charging Seeed Studio XIAO with a 3.7V lithium battery, expansion with additional Grove modules, the ability to integrate flash memory via SPI, and a compact and modular customisable design.
