Description
Product information "seeed Grove - Sliding potentiometer"
Seeed Grove - Slide Potentiometer
The Grove - Slide Potentiometer module integrates a linear variable resistor with a maximum resistance of 10KΩ. When the regulator is moved from one side to the other, the output voltage varies from 0 V to the applied operating voltage (Vcc). The module is connected to other Grove modules via a standardised 4-pin Grove cable. Three of the pins are connected to OUT (pin 1), Vcc (pin 3) and GND (pin 4), while the fourth pin (pin 2) is connected to a green LED on the board. The LED visually indicates the change in resistance of the potentiometer.
The module uses a linear resistance curve, resulting in a smooth output of parameters to the board during adjustment. Durability is supported by a rotational life of over 15,000 cycles. The use of the Grove standard socket allows for easy "plug and play", making the module versatile for various applications.
The Grove - Slide Potentiometer can be used in various applications, including as a volume control (BoomBox), voltage divider, radio control, brightness control for lamps and as a control element for game controls.
