Es kann in Standard-Elektrowanddosen, hinter Steckdosen und Lichtschaltern oder an anderen Orten mit begrenztem Raum nachgerüstet werden. Shelly 2PM Gen3 verfügt über eine integrierte Web-Oberfläche, die zur Überwachung und Steuerung des Geräts sowie zur Anpassung seiner Einstellungen genutzt werden kann.
