Product information "SparkFun Sound Detector"
The envelope output allows you to read the amplitude of the sound by simply measuring the analogue voltage. The gain can be adjusted with a through-hole resistor to also change the threshold of the binary (gate) output pin. For more information on setting the gain, see the instructions below.
Each of the three output signals is located on the 1" pinout on the edge of the board. They are active at the same time. If you do not need one of them in your application, simply leave this pin unconnected.
