This device has an integrated VL53L0x distance measurement sensor which, unlike conventional technologies, enables accurate distance measurement regardless of the target's reflection. It can measure absolute distances of up to 2m in less than 30ms.
This device communicates with the M5Core via I2C(0x29).
- In this case, make sure you use the 3.3V on SDA and SCL. M5Core GROVE supplies 3.3V to the data pins, 5V to the power pin. Only 3.3V is allowed on VL53L0x.
