The 5.5-inch touch display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels offers IPS technology, which ensures high colour accuracy and a wide viewing angle of 170°. It supports multi-touch with up to 10 touch points, depending on the software and operating system used. The capacitive touch surface is made of tempered glass with a hardness of 6H and is protected against dust by optical bonding technology. The display has an HDMI interface for video and a USB port for the touch function. It also offers two audio outputs: a 3.5 mm jack connection and a 4-pin header interface.

The display is compatible with the Raspberry Pi and PCs. It supports various operating systems such as Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali and Windows (versions 7 to 11). No additional drivers are required for the Raspberry Pi operating systems. The full 2K resolution can currently only be used with powerful Raspberry Pi models such as the Raspberry Pi 4B or Compute Module 4. Older models such as the Raspberry Pi 3B+ or Zero W only support a standard view in portrait format and cannot be rotated. Full support is also expected for future Raspberry Pi versions with better GPU performance.

The IPS panel covers the 100% sRGB colour space and ensures a clear and vivid colour display. The optical bonding technology increases the clarity of the display by minimising reflections and dust between the layers. The touch function is precise and offers versatility for applications such as media playback, graphical user interfaces and interactive control.
