Der MCP9600 Breakout ist ein hochgenauer Thermoelement-Verstärker, der mit einer I2C-Schnittstelle ausgestattet ist und über unser Qwiic-System angesprochen wird. Im Inneren des Chips befinden sich zwei Temperatursensoren, einer für das Thermoelement selbst (die Heißstelle) und einer für den Chip selbst (die Kaltstelle). Dadurch kann der MCP9600 sowohl die Umgebungstemperatur als auch die Temperatur des zu messenden Objekts messen! Der MCP9600 kann beides mit einer Auflösung von 0,0625°C und einer Genauigkeit von ±1,5°C (worst-case).
