A tiny, densely packed matrix of 77 individually controllable bright white LEDs. Ideal for scrolling text, animations, bar charts or just general lighting, and it's Raspberry Pi and Arduino compatible.

This tiny white LED matrix has 77 pixels on a board the size of a postage stamp! The brightness of each LED can be individually controlled, meaning you can display all kinds of cool text, animations and more on it.

Like our other breakouts, this one simply plugs onto the pins of your Pi after soldering on the included right-angle female header, and we've included a trace that can be cut to change the I2C address from 0x75 to 0x77 if you want to use two matrices at once!

It's compatible with our fancy breakout garden HAT, where using breakouts is as simple as plugging it into one of the six slots, creating projects and coding.

We have designed this breakout board so that you can solder the piece of right-angled header and plug it directly into the bottom left 5 pins of the GPIO header on your Raspberry Pi (pins 1, 3, 5, 7, 9).

We've put together a Python library to make controlling the 11x7 LED Matrix Breakout really easy, along with a handful of examples to show what it can do.
Our software does not support Raspbian Wheezy.
