This RS485-HAT consists of an automatic 485 transceiver circuit and a DC-DC buck circuit that can reduce an input voltage from 12V to 5V.
RS485 is a standard that defines the electrical characteristics of drivers and receivers for use in serial communication systems that are widely used in the industrial field. Multi-point systems are supported.
It is used to convert the TTL standard to the RS485 standard. If the external serial device complies with the RS485 standard, you can put this hat on the Stickc to realise communication with an RS485 device via the TTL protocol.
