This USB breakout lets you add a USB-C connector to your projects without having to solder on every tiny SMD pad. The SparkFun USB-C Breakout delivers up to three times more power than previous USB iterations and also solves the commonly frustrating dilemma of properly plugging in a USB cable because it's reversible!
This board breaks out the VBUS, GND, CC1, CC2, D+ and D- pins of the USB-C connector into a 0.1-inch pitch header, delivering up to a nominal 1.5A of current and up to 3A depending on the upstream device.
