ST Microelectronics
STMicroelectronics – semiconductors from Europe
STMicroelectronics was created in 1987 from the merger of an Italian and a French semiconductor manufacturer and is today one of Europe's largest chip makers, headquartered in Geneva.
Best known is the STM32 family: 32-bit microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex-M, ranging from power-saving tiny devices to powerful controllers with graphics acceleration. They are widely used in industry and, thanks to the open toolchain, also readily accessible for makers. Programming and debugging is done with the ST-LINK adapters, which support JTAG and SWD.
Alongside these are proven discrete components: TIP122 Darlington transistors for load switching, STP16NF06 MOSFETs for motors and LED strips, ULN2803 arrays for multi-channel control – parts that sit between controller and load in countless circuits.
At BerryBase you will find STMicroelectronics microcontrollers, programmers and semiconductors for development and repair.
