Product information "Teensy 4 Audio Shield, Rev D"
The Teensy Audio Shield utilises the SGTL5000 stereo codec with headphone amplifier IC to decode and drive audio files and the Teensy Dev board's Cortex-M4 DSP instructions to drive a real-time FFT. Each board is also equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones, a micro SD card slot for storing audio files and optional slots for a 25k potentiometer (volume control) and a flash memory chip. The two rows of 14x1 headers are not included to give you the freedom to choose how you connect your audio board to your Teensy.
Note: Please note that a Teensy 4.0 must also be purchased in order to use the Teensy Audio Shield.
