Product information "seeed Grove - 4 Port I2C Hub"
I2C Hub Grove is an expansion module in the Grove series for connecting multiple I2C devices to a Grove Base Shield. It has three I2C ports and supports 3.3 V systems. By using a universal 4 pin to X2 4 pin cable, up to three I2C devices can be connected simultaneously, which covers the majority of development requirements. If this number of interfaces is not sufficient, the Grove - 8 Channel I2C Multiplexer/I2C Hub (TCA9548A) is available as an alternative.
This module offers an easy way to expand the number of I2C devices on a microcontroller system. It is specially designed for the Grove platform and enables quick integration of additional sensors or actuators via the I2C interface.
The I2C Hub is used if several I2C devices are to be operated simultaneously but there are not enough I2C connections available. The module distributes the existing I2C signal to three additional ports. It is particularly suitable for development projects in which a large number of sensors or components with an I2C connection are to be integrated.
