Product information "SparkFun Thing Plus, STM32"

With a 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 RISC core, the SparkFun STM32 Thing Plus brings power and precision to your projects. The STM32 Thing Plus provides you with a cost-effective and easy-to-use development platform when you need more power in a smaller footprint. This Thing comes flashed with the DFU bootloader, and to make the Thing Plus even easier to use, we've flipped a few pins to make the board Feather compatible. What's more, it utilises our handy Qwiic Connect system, which means no soldering or shielding is required to connect it to the rest of your system!

As mentioned, the STM32F405 processor is based on the powerful ARM®Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core and can operate at a frequency of up to 168 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core has a single precision floating point unit (FPU) that supports all ARM instructions and data types for single precision processing. It also implements a full set of DSP instructions and a memory protection unit (MPU) that enhances application security. This processor board utilises the DFU bootloader to upload code and has an extensive range of advanced I/Os and peripherals. In addition to the USB interface and the Qwiic connector, the STM32 Thing Plus offers a 3.3 V regulator and a LiPo charger as well as 16 MB Flash and a microSD slot for expandable memory.
